Terms of sale and use
Last updated: [DATE PUBLISHED]
These terms cover buying and using Unblock, a desktop app made by [SELLER NAME] (“we”). By buying or using Unblock you agree to them.
Who sells it
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is the seller named on your receipt and handles payment, sales tax and VAT. Their buyer terms also apply to your purchase.
The license
- What you buy. A license to use one major version of Unblock (for example, every 1.x release). Your receipt links to the newest files for that version.
- What it costs. The price depends on the gross revenue, over the last 12 months, of the person or company using Unblock: $5 under $10k, $50 under $100k, $500 under $1M, $5,000 under $10M. At $10M and over, write to us. If your revenue later crosses into a higher tier, you pay the difference.
- It runs on trust. Unblock has no license key and never checks which tier you paid. Every tier gets the same files and features. We ask that you pay the tier that fits.
- Where you can use it. On any computers you or your team use. Please don’t share the installers publicly or resell them.
- Open-source parts. Unblock includes open-source components under their own licenses, listed in third-party-notices.md inside the app.
Your data
Unblock keeps your plans in files on your computer and sends us nothing. See the privacy policy.
No warranty
Unblock is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Keep your own backups of anything that matters.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about Unblock is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or lost profits.
Refunds
See the refund policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. A change never takes away a license you already bought.
